Let’s Unwind: Halla Spa and Sauna

How are you? It has been a while. Sorry for the late update. I have been doing a lot of things and getting busy with a new project. Summer is over and I am now back in Dubai. How was your vacation? I hope you all had a lovely summer holidays. As for me, I had a rollercoaster one! I will post about my summer holidays soon!

So before I went back to Dubai, I had a super-duper pampered time with my family. We went to Korean public bath house. For people who are wondering, “What is a Korean bath house?” A Korean bathhouse (Jjimjilbang) is a large, gender-segregated public bathhouse. It is furnished with hot tubs, showers, Korean traditional kiln saunas and massage tables.

So we went to Halla Spa and Sauna in Korean Town, Angeles City. They do offer a good promotion every morning and also late in the evening. If I am not mistaken, it would cost you 500php for the massage and sauna package. It is so cheap and the service was superb, especially, their massage service.

This is what it looks like inside. The bathhouse itself is quite small. It can really get crowded in the morning. So make sure that you are early to enjoy it to yourself. They will give you a locker for you stuff.

By the way, since it is a public bath. You have to bring your own toiletries. Well, the establishment provides some toiletries but it is better to bring your own so that you can fully enjoy your bath time.

The sauna room was really nice. It has some mineral stones for healing properties. The smell of wood relaxes me.

They do have a hot and cold pool. You can submerge yourself and forget about everything in your life. hahaha It was so relaxing.

Unfortunately, I was not able to take some pictures of their massage room. It was upstairs. It was nice, dim and really quiet. A nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. You can stay there as long as you want, and read some Mangas or books. You can also buy food at their cafe.

The first time I went there, I was really oblivious to what I need to do. My aunt said that I need to be naked inside the bathhouse, and my reaction was “Huh?! What do you mean naked?” And there I go. Yep, I went inside wearing only my birthday suit. hahaha It was my first time to be naked in public. I was so diffident, and yet it was liberating.

I always go here every time I am in the Philippines. They provide an excellent service in a very reasonable price. Yes, I would recommend this to you! Till the next post

The last time I went there was summer of 2018. At that time, it was under new management. So there were some changes with their prices/promotions. Unfortunately, I don’t have any information about the new prices of their services.
